Message from the Executive Director

Thank you for visiting the aafsp.org website.  I hope you will find the information available through us to be informative and helpful as you and your family begin the journey of developing a succession plan for your farm or ranch.

As a fourth-generation member of a farm family, I have firsthand experience watching and participating in family discussions regarding the future of the farm, it’s related businesses and continuing the legacy for the future.  Throughout that time, I realized the importance of developing a plan early, and the necessity of accurate information to make informed decisions related to the development of the plan.  Our organization’s goal is to be a trusted source of information to help you and your family in developing your succession plan.

As you visit our website, I hope you will continue to come back to us as our services and information we provide continues to grow and evolve.  We will soon be providing e-learning opportunities for farm and ranching families to assist in farm succession planning and related aspects, providing in-house publications to assist families in their succession planning journey and more.
